A: According to the claims of many people the PS3 SHOULD be outselling the Xbox360 handily, especially in the U.S market. And according to many people, the direct opposite should be happening. What s your point? Using Rock on as an example would only be interesting if rock on somehow managed to influence the market in any way. This ofcourse is not at all true.

B: Not a nonsense paragraph. I was talking about marketing as my main point. The fact that the PS3 was bringing forth a lot of shooters was just used to support my argument about the relative strengths of each consoles marketing efforts. You say it yourself - saturated market. You support MY point that the Xbox360s exclusive games are more fitting for the current market dynamics. I also never said that you said that, I was saying "Its funny I hear "the Xbox360 is just a shooter console" And yet the PS3 is the one coming out with the big shooter games this year. Isn't it bad marketing to be a year behind the Xbox360 going for a market already tapped?" Read the whole sentance before you jump on the first part huh? The italic part is most interesting.

?, how the hell did your brain make the connection that while I was talking about the userbase being so much bigger then the PS3s has saturated the market, you somehow assumed I was talking about software? The userbase consists of hardware. No one cares about your generic shooters, rpg story we see in every topic here and least off all I do. Get your facts straight by starting out with the facts please. You are just making up stuff now.

C: Australia is one of the hottest countries in the world, it can have temperatures reaching as high as 40 degrees WITH high humidity  or 50 without and furthermore a much greater percentage of the country experiences such high temperatures AND it has a relatively higher Xbox360 install base compared to the PS3. So it is both hotter on average and hotter in absolute terms. The middle east doesn't matter because it hardly has an consoles to compare it to.

First off, thanks for cherry picking out one single example (which currently is a huge market for the PS2, the best selling console in history as you may recall) and ignoring the rest. The main reason why the 360 is so much larger in Austarlia is the one year start and the fact that the PS3 is really expensive there. The Wii however easily outsells them.
