I am just going to play devils advocate here for a minute. What happens if MS drops the price and sales get little to no boost whatsoever? I know some MS fanboys like to THINK they have a better linup therest of the year, but c'mon? One of last gens biggest and most popular franchises was SOCOM, Gears is a new franchise to this gen. Most potential buysers for MS are people who are without a 360 or PS3, So don't ya think Socom will be a bigger draw. I know MS fanboys would like to make Gears Halo, but it is not. It is entirely possible thatthe 360 has hit it's saturation point and it's nowhere but down from here on. If this is the case than no price drop is going to save it.. honestly a price drop for MS could be a bigger gamble than it would be for sony, because if it doesn't work they are cooked.
