Not disputing that it's a record, and an impressive one at that.  But, it's disingenuous to intentionally leave out the very specific wording that Sony themselves used, that it is a record amongst PlayStation consoles.

So its atleast 18-19 days less than what you wrote above.
Though that hardly matters much in the grand scheme of things.

Sony put an * next to the 10m announcement () and then clarified the * stood for:  * As of July 18, 2021 .  So the date I used was directly quoted from SIE.
