It's an out of the box feature for ps5 games. Ghost of Tsushima is a ps4 game. If you read the links, they did not start working on haptic feedback etc until after the game was released. Those are new features for a PS5 remake of the game.

So yes, you are correct that all ps5 games need to sell for $70
- PS4 game, $60 no haptic feedback
- PS5 game, $70 includes haptic feedback and other extras

It's the same everywhere else. You can't buy the standard version of FS2020 and then claim the premium content for free.

Anyway, we disagree.

This bolded point really shouldn't matter. Like, at all. This mentality that 'they made the content prior to release, therefore you deserve it with the game' mentality is just, so, so, SO wrong. It's the worst type of entitlement, one that's so prevalent online, it seems.

WE'll use the fighting game analogy thingie with I think Street Fighter and the DLC already being on the disc. Like, if they create a game, put 24 characters in the base game, and feel that the price is worth 20 characters and lock the others behind a paywall...that's their decision. Nobody's entitled to it. If that's what they feel their time is worth, then it's only your job to agree or disagree. However, disagreement doesn't mean we need those extra four characters. Again, luxury items are not essentials. If you don't like the business practice...don't buy it. That's what's Azza's doing. I mean, he's also trying to turn it into some silly crusade, but still.

I am a writer. I write short stories (mostly fantasy erotica, if you must know), and if I decide to write 2,000 more words than you paid for, that's my decision. I set my prices, but sometimes the actual value changes. Same thing can happen with games. 60-70 bucks for the base price, and it's up to you if you wanna pay for the DLC or if you think the extra content is worth it.

That was a bad analogy now that I read it back, but the general concept remains the same. It's up to the developer and the publisher and those involved to put a price on their work. It doesn't matter if they made 7 things at once, and give you 5 of those things for the base price and charge you for the other two. That's, like, the core concept of a free market. you're only entitled to what you paid for at the time of purchase. you don't get to say 'oh, but you were also working on that so I Get that, too' or 'oh, you updated the game a year later? I get that version, too', or 'you made more content? I get that, too' or even 'oh, I didn't realize you also were doing this at the same time so I get that too.' All anyone is entitled to is what is offered to you when you buy it. If you buy the game on PS4, with the game's base features and story...that's what you are entitled to. It doesn't matter if they add expansions or make a PS5 version or add gameplay modes, you are not entitled to any of that. sure, there has been a lot of generosity on the part of Sony and Microsoft and others, but the reality is...all of that is predicated on their hopes of fostering good will and loyalty, not obligation.

People keep getting that part wrong, and it's created quite the toxic situation.
