Well, I never played them but from what I heard, all of the main Suikoden games sans IV are worth playing

 

 

I,II, III and V are indeed awesome, IV was a definite letdown in comparison.

Because the way it works chronilogically, you could actually play IV first so it doesn't seem as bad.
