The_Liquid_Laser said: The NES. 3 Mario games: 2 Zelda games: Tetris - The best selling game of all time. Duck Hunt - Created the light gun genre. Solid arcade ports: Metroid - Still the best selling version in the series Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! - I can't even describe how great it is to be able to fight Iron Mike Tyson. He even knocks me down with one hit just like the real Mike Tyson would if I fought him in RL. All of the other fighters have memorable personalities too. Other classics: That is an unbeatable first party line-up. No other console has ever come close, Nintendo or otherwise. I didn't even list all of Nintendo's first party games either. That was part of the secret of the NES. They simply made so many original games. Not all of them were great, nor did they need to be. They just needed to keep putting stuff out, and we would end up discovering what the real classics were. |
