I'm starting to notice a disturbing trend from people in this thread: every time someone has run all out of anything to say with actual substance, they talk about how "passionate" I am about a subject, despite being on the exact same site, in the exact same forum, spending just as much time, focus and energy on the exact same subject. It's almost like it's a dogwhistle for an ad hominem attack in desperation of anything to use to retort back with or something.

I mean, if I didn't really care much about something, I sure as hell wouldn't keep arguing with a person over and over about it, even after that person said his/her/themself that I seemed not to care about it and tried to drop it. I sure wouldn't keep that thing going long after exhausting any reasonable points I had to make about the matter and start resorting to nonsense like educating people on "floor height" and the spatial relationship between feet and faces. I'd sound like one of those flat earthers, like Kyrie Irving or something.

Yeah, I guess the only way we can ever possibly know someone else's intent is to be psychics to read peoples' minds. Going off of things like prior behavior, examining replays, and consulting reasonable authority figures don't mean squat. Here's an idea: let's surgically put eyes in the backs of everyone's heads so that we can always see where people who are behind us are going to land! We'll never misjudge "floor height" again, and the next time a guy kicks his leg out and rolls his ankle, it will definitely be the fault of the other guy!

*Eye roll*

If only you realize this probably 3 post ago you would not have bothered.  Know your poster and you will not waste your time as much.

I try to believe in the good of people and assume they're going to show some manner of practicality at some point.
