If a port of Pikmin 3, a franchise that has never been super popular, can sell 2-3 million copies on the Switch, becoming the best selling entry in the franchise... a new Metroid entry that fans have been waiting for 19 years and that has become one of the biggest announcements of the E3 could at the very very least, sell the same.

My prediction is 4-5 million when everything is said and done. I'm maybe too generous, but I'm confident in the power of Metroid 5 and the incredible boost most first party franchises get on the Switch.
