Anytime I want to dig out the Wii. I ned to find the stupid sensor bar. Set that up. Then if I want a normal controller I have to have this stupid Wii remote dangling down in my lap. It's stupid. |
Pretty sure wireless controller options exist for Wii.
Regarding the Wiimote and nunchuck, I remember having a negative reaction to them when I first saw pictures of the Wii. But actually using them (in games where your arms aren't flailing about), I instantly found it to be the most relaxing gaming experience of any controller. I didn't have to have my hands bound together in front of me the entire time. Each hand could rest comfortably over each armrest of my reclining chair. Same goes for the joycons. I can use them in so many more comfortable sitting/lying down positions. If it weren't for the drift issue, which I have experienced with mine, I would use them more than my pro controller to be honest. But, that's a matter of personal preference. I know a lot of people love the dual shock PS controllers, but I've always found them to be uncomfortable compared to the Pro/Xbox style controller. Whenever I would play sports games at my friends house, I would always feel like I had to stretch my left thumb out to reach the thumstick and callouses would develop on my thumb as a result.
