Yep, they put testing the waters, expanding the userbase, etc, but no clarity on their strategy.

The logical behind using the term selective,is this is what they see as being what suits their current business plan and although it may be obvious that term was never going to be enough to stop the "this means full 1st party PC integration  is a fait accompli" the fact is atm this is their strategy and they weren't ever going to preempt themselves.
