You can look at Rol's table in this thread. Every week in 2020 that sold under 50k represented shortages. (Maybe not week 8...not sure about that.) As long as Nintendo is able to keep the stock coming, they aren't going to dip below 50k for a good while, maybe a couple years. If there are any sub 50k weeks sometime in the next couple of years, then those weeks will be due to stock shortages. Expect over 50k to be the norm for a really good while.
