Yup, and you just reminded me of some rather bittersweet days. I also worked in a call center for Nintendo not too long ago, calls for Switch in general and drifting were the norm but I was surprised by how many people called regarding the Wii, elderly people and young children at that, which I guess isn't so glamorous. I hated those calls, because even though we couldn't process repair orders since support for the Wii ended long ago, we still had to go through general troubleshooting and convince the caller that we couldn't do anything. |
Yeah those elderly people calls were humorous to me. I blindly helped many grandma figure out how to connect the yellow red white video cable to tv. It takes about an our lol. The ones I hated were the mentally handicapped who love Nintendo nostalgia and called just to talk with someone about it. Member berries that just say “remember when” such n such. It was cute at first but it got old. Not ragging on them. A lot of cool people called and were fun to talk to. As well.
