The design for the PS Vita is fundamentally bad business practice. Requiring the expensive proprietary cards should never have been a thing, it would've been possible to produce a vita that wasn't as overdesigned, they went with a no compromises approach, that's what screwed them, if they had made compromises on the hardware, the price would've been more attractive. A better memory management system being more consumer friendly etc all could've made more people buy it and then buy more games.

Do you believe the Vita failed simply because it existed? I'm not too sure where you stand with that?

No, if anthing, vita hardware design is very good, except the lack of R2/L2.

It failed mostly because it's software, without big 3rd party games, Sony 1st party games alone are never system seller like Nintendo 1st party games. Without 3rd party, only Nintendo can survive, the other twos can't.

I never said the design was bad, I effectively said the design was too good. Compromises should've been made on features they wanted to have and it would've been a more attractive price.

Wait wait hold up. I said the vita had bad support, you responded with that it had 1300 games (a completely irrelevant fact to quality). And now you're saying it didn't have enough support? This has been such a waste of time..
