I think the original bet was that they'd do over 120 million combined by the end of their life, but liquid laser didn't want to wait 10 years or so for a result so he shortened it to 56 million by end of 2023.

I know about gambling addictions. My dad goes to the casino once a month if not more. Though he never takes more than he is willing to lose at least. Just slot machines to me get boring after like 20 minutes and table games are far too expensive.

I don't think I've ever done a bet here on VGChartz. Though as the guy that does the hardware estimates that wouldn't be right for me to do lol. 

Yeah gambling is an evil evil thing and it's benefits are far outweighed by it's risks. A little dopamine hit and really bad odds aren't good enough a reason to gamble.
