People who bought the PS4/X1 in the first 5 months of their life didn't have any other choice but to play the few games available to them. People buying PS5/XSX now can keep cleaning up their backlog with no rush, with the added incentive that those games now run better than ever. |
If your reason to buy a PS5 is to play your "many" PS4 backlogs, it would be more logical if you just keep on using your PS4 with these games and buy an upgraded, midgen version of the PS5 in about 3 years. Besides, many games about to be released on the early life of PS5 are crossgen with the PS4. Because once the PS5 Pro comes, the PS5 that you had bought to play your PS4 games is now outdated. Unless, shelling out is not an issue for you.
