Even in the lower resolution pictures their is a stark contrast. Your full resolution shot makes things long even worse for Killzone 2, OriGin. I'll need more screen shots to make a definitive conclusion but given the fact that Sony is showing the game behind closed doors at E3, we probably won't see any new screenshots any time soon.
Edit: Bungie themselves said that Halo 3 wouldn't look as good as Gears of War. Killzone 2 on the other hand is supposed to trump Gears of War graphically according to the Sony faithful. It supposed to look better than the trailer according to Phil Harrison. The screen shot shows that neither is true.
