Haven't played on story, but their description of the difficulty seems like even bosses become quite easy to deal with (it even disable one trophy). And I'm not a specialist on Souls game and was able to reasonably pass the challenges with not that many tries (and there aren't many bosses that game me real challenge, would say about 3), try and look a let's play or if you want I can give you the name of the bosses that game me a harder time so you can look the battle and see if looks so hard for you.

Cheers. Like I say, I quite like the look of the game but I really don't like frustration and I am not the most skilled gamer due to slightly impaired fine motor control and poor reflexes.

I am on the same boat of not really appreciating the frustration =] games for me is to be enjoyed without being pissed. I tolerated the harshiness of playing GoW on Give me GoW because first I love the game and second because I was the dumb person that choose to put on the hardest (without knowing that the battle would be so different from previous ones).

One tweak I´d make in Vampyr´s combat is to speed up the Skals melee animations just slightly, but eliminate the tracking from their attacks entirely or severely limit it. Especially during the jump attack that some Skals do, they manage to make a 45 degree turn in midair, which is simply ridiculous.

That would be good. This and poison (that also sucks the stamina) are the ones that pissed me the most (that fight with 4 or more skals and they jumping all over the place was one regular fight I probably had to do 4 or 5 times to beat due to few bugs the game have).

I enjoyed my time with the game.. I found the sister boss to be the hardest in the game and nearly gave up after the 6 or 7th attempt. I found it odd the amount of slots for weapons and guns and stuff to be huge and I bared filed them, I wonder if I missed loads. Hardly used heal items either, just sucked enemies instead. The blood spear was op.

I have enjoyed Dontnod's action games (well, it's basically just Remember Me but that was fun) and kinda want to see what they can do with a real budget.

Sister was hard but the actress was harder for me because I was being too impatient.
