Yes.  The Switch comes out of the box with a dock and the controllers are removable.  

I bought a Switch at launch, hooked it up to my home theater in the same fashion I did my ps4.  I played Zelda on my TV just like I would with any other home console, without purchasing anything extra.  

The system is designed to function (out of the box) as a home console or portable console....  almost like it is a hybrid console
