Yeah but we discussed the matter before, the thing is with the NPD is that they only focus on dollar total, which is "pointless" here cause the PS5 is sold more expensive than the PS4

Um, that's the update.  PS5 Unit sales is less than 1% off the current record for the first 4 months.

so PS5 dollar amount is way above the previous record for dollar sales.

unit sales <1% off current record, basically identical.
