I tend to agree with the OP as to not knowing why I should care but the thing is that I do care.
I can't explain it but I am Nintendo biased (slightly) so always happy for them when they get good HW and SW numbers. Oddly enough, I own all systems and buy most of my games 1st day and will go as far as be disappointed that, for example, GTA4 sold so much 1st week in "others" though I am one of the many who bought it 1st week...
Is there something wrong with me?
