Must the games strictly be from 2017? Because I want to mention Doom on Switch, I'm having an absolute blast with it, can't really understand why it didn't appeal to me back in 2016.

But speaking solely about games of this year, I'd say Splatoon 2, FIFA 18, Sonic Mania, and Super Mario Odyssey

Looking back, the only game of this list that eventually stood out to me was... Doom 2016. I haven't played FIFA 18, Odyssey and Splatoon 2 since 2018, and I only touched Mania last week for the first time since 2017. The games that I've played a lot and have enjoyed the most since they released were Doom, indeed, and also Zelda Breath of the Wild. My perception of the latter has heavily changed since it launched 4 years ago.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
