I just decided to take a gander at general 2017 nominations and winners across multiple sites, and I have to agree. 2017 was just a better year for winners and selections all around. Different sites already chose different games, different winners, different outcomes.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
