Well very convenient you didn't bother to link which Sony account (I certainly don't see it on the main Sony twitter), but regardless, they've still yet to give any clear information and it's all still just vaguely promised features.
Speculation seems to be that if it does happen, it'll likely only be for PS5, in line with firmware updates so far that have primarily targeted PS5 (which of couse still doesn't support VRR at all yet). However you want to slice it, it's all very deceptive and dishonest.
If you want to spend money and roll the dice based on what we know, that's your business, but no one should be recommending this TV for use with Series X, if you actually care about the features related to gaming. Not with what we know right now.
