Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled vs Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

I tried Crash Team Racing Remastered. I loved the PS1 original but...it doesn't handle nearly as well. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a handling is perfect. CTR has that awesome story mode but...jeez I can't handle the controls. Function over form IMO. Though I'd love a story mode with Mario Kart
