Yep. I don't know if they truly will and sure no one can ensure they will win. But yes when you give public information to investors/shareholders you are responsible for it, as you said you may make a very good plan and it may fail an all be in good faith, that loss can't be recovered by suing. But when the public information was false and it make you incur in loss then you have a course of action imho.

And luckily CDPR and platform holders were fast on the refunds, because a class action from customers was also very likely.

Which court system oversees an international class action lawsuit? They are in Poland but have investors all over the world.

For investors class action it would be wherever they have their shares traded I guess, so if their shares are only listed in Poland I would say they can only sue over there, but if for some reason they are also listed in let's say Wall Street you could perhaps sue over there. My best guess is that the contract you have on your share stipulate what is the right venue for a possible lawsuit.

For customers themselves I would say they can sue on the country they officially bought the product, considering physical good doesn't have the EULA covering them, CDPR wouldn't be able to demand all lawsuits need to take place in Poland. Now if you bought from an import location and CDPR doesn't have official representation in the country I guess you can only sue the store that sold it.
