I think it needs another revolution in RT that reduces performance requirements by magnitudes. Maybe something like DLRT. Or what I would prefer myself, a dedicated RT accelerator card. Waiting for GPUs to do RT well is like waiting for Intel integrated graphics to play Crysis at 4k. |
