CD Project released a statement that they will release 2 future patches between January (patch 1) and February (patch 2), promising that all bugs will be fixed.

Also, they encourage the ones not satisfied with the game (especially those PS4/Xbone owners) to approach the retailer where they got the game and ask for a refund, if the retailer refuses to give a refund you are able to send them an email and they will “help you the best they can”.

Here in Australia the major retailers like EB Games and JB Hi-Fi started to give refunds this past weekend.

Stocks for CD Project were reduced in price and well, most of the people in this forum already saw what happened on MC related to this game.

I know that CD project has a good reputation but with this buggy launch, a lot of people actually started to lose the trust put on them.
I haven’t had major issues playing it on PS5, but have a lot of friends playing the game on PS4/Xbone that are furious since there are a lot of issues/bugs and some of them even made them not to be able to continue anymore.

At the end this is all on the developer for not been transparent since the start with last generation consoles.

More of that silver tongued PR. So generous, go try get a refund from a retailer first, otherwise you can contact them, for a week and they'll try to help somehow. Smart, cutting off all the christmas tree copies. Meanwhile pls hold on to your copy while we crunch are team further to get you fixes asap.

They are between a rock and hard place, but only offering an unconditional refund while also stating that the team gets a deserved break for the holidays to resume fresh in the new year would be the right thing to do at this point.

Meanwhile a nice little jab in there at console gamers, gotto understand it's not going to look like the PC game (self explanatory) fanning the flames of their toxic fans since that's about the attitude on Steam, git gud PC console gamers suck, console responsible for bugs etc.

Nothing in there to say we should not have released it yet, nor apologies to their own team, humbly, my ass.
