Konami is set to see the biggest YoY growth, while Bandai Namco will have the biggest YoY decline on the Switch.
Square will also see decline because last year they had DQXI & DQB2 as their top selling games, while this year it would be DQXI & Trials of Mana which will end up around what DQB2 managed in 2019.
Level 5 is the biggest omission from the bigger publishers with no game in the Top 20 this year.
Very interested in how games like Mario & Sonic, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, Taiko no Tatsujin, DQXIS, Project Diva, Fitness Boxing etc did outside of the Top 30 of Famitsu. Overall I think 3rd Party sales this year will surpass 4 million within the Top 20. A good example is Dragon Ball Heroes last year the game exited the Famitsu Top 30 in June at 123.963 but was able to achieve 145.720 for the year. So when we get the updated numbers for the Top 100, there will be substantial updates for some games that launched earlier in the year.
12 Games managed more than 100K sales last year on the Switch, I think there is a decent chance for the 20th game in the ranking to end up very close to 100K sales.
