Looks as if Microsoft is prioritizing certain regions like NA over Europe for launch. The XBS barely outsold the XBO in the UK, a little less than the XBO in Japan, and sold a little less than the XBO in France. MS saying it's their biggest launch so we can assume that the Americas and maybe even Oceania took the stock for that to happen

Hard to blame them for that though. They don't really have much chance in Europe to be honest and Sony seems to be prioritising US as well this time (judging by their statements, it's pretty clear that they really want to win US over Xbox once again). So, wise decision in my opinion from MS side. Win US at launch and then move on to EU expansion.

Nobody is saying MS can win Europe from one to the next day but MS isn't even trying and that's the problem. They didn't try anything last gen here and it seems that it won't get better this gen. Sony isn't just winning with such a huge gap without doing anything. They win so hard because they take the market serious which MS clearly doesn't. They have no huge ad campaigns, they don't get marketing deals for important games or anything. They just release the consoles in Europe and are like "take it or not but don't expect us to do anything not with USA/UK in mind"

But Xbox already tells people to buy a PS5 if their friends own one so I guess I should really do that. makes no sense to me to buy an Xbox when all my friends moved away from it after the 360. I just hate how stupid/lazy/indifferent MS is in Europe because I was always more of an Xbox guy but yeah...
