So? Should we do a list of games that were slated to be PS4 exclusive and then came over to the Switch? Would be at least as long as yours...

And about the bolded part: Sony is the one with the constant moneyhatting to have games on their platform, not Nintendo. That has been proven time and again.

The vice versa list would not be nearly as prominent.

Nintendo lost, MH,DQ, the best selling Japanese third party games of all time.

Lets be honest here, the Switch version is gonna outsell the Playstation version by a good margin considering the history of the franchise and how JRPG's been performing on Switch especially in the last year or two.

Expected as TWEWY was a prior Nintendo exclusive, however if this is just the start then the franchise can become just as popular on PS. There is a far bigger SE JRPG audience on Playstation (FF,KH,Nier) than on Nintendo.

Games going PS4/Switch multiplat has benefit the Switch so much more than the other way around. I doubt Nintendo loses sleep over "losing" exclusives when they still get the game anyway.

Definitely are considering Nintendo actively pays money to publishers to make their games exclusive. They paid Capcom 15 million just to delay the annoucement of MH Rise PC lmao

Bear in mind, Sony also sees importance of third party exclusives, though they go after far bigger properties.

And when it comes to Japan though, that is assuming that PS5 doesn't continue the decline Playstation has been facing in Japan. Though it should get sequels to some of the big heavy hitters on the PS4 sooner, since it looks like FFXVI could release as early as late 2021 and if those documents from the Capcom aren't outdated, the follow up to Monster Hunter World is 2023. Both of those have a good chance of not hitting Switch, but for another big sequel to a PS4 game, DQXII. I think is that gonna be multiplat with Switch and PS5 with the former being the lead platform for the game and Nintendo definitely more likely to help market then Sony.

PS3 -> PS4 decline is like 5% and would be smaller if it was not for the stock problems and PS5's BC.

Capcom also has:

  1. Dragons Dogma
  2. Pragmata
  3. SF6
  4. RE8
  5. RE4 Remake
  6. RE Multiplayer title

SE, Capcom,TK and NB will be supporting PS5 a lot more than PS4, as they had their biggest successes of all time thanks to the PS4.

How did Nintendo lose MH when it originated on PS platforms and was on PS2, PS3 and PSP as well as PC? DQ was also on PS platforms from the PS1 era through to the PS2? Not only do you have no actual point here you don't really have a clue on what you're on about either. TWEWY was on mobile and I guarantee you the NS version of the second game will outsell the PS4 game.
