Oh, and Backwards Compatibility. It also functions as a third PS4 in the house. (Fourth starting next month.) I have a Ps4, my current roommate has a PS4...and my brother who is moving in also has a PS4. None of us have the PS4 pro, so the PS5 functions as aPS4 Pro AND a PS5, and it's in the living room where it's shared.

YEs for those that don't have a Pro the benefits from the upgrade is quite more clear.

I got my PS4 at launch and it still works flawlessly. I have a 3TB external Hard Drive connected to it and a gallery of outstanding PS4 games on there as well as a bunch of indies. I cloned a lot of those games to put on an additional Hard Drive on the Ps5, but there have been some growing pains with that. I'm going to have to make some adjustments and adapt accordingly.

My Console Library:

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360
