| LudicrousSpeed said: How strange that Microsoft games are “poached” and yet you also talk about Ratchet and Spider-Man, made by a “poached” developer and a moneyhat IP, Demons Souls which was a PS3 moneyhat, Horizon 2 which is a “poached” developer, etc etc lol.I think you’re making too big a deal out of xCloud. MS has repeatedly said local hardware will always be best and xCloud is just a convenience. It’s just an option. As for the performance, it works great on my home WiFi with just an iPhone. I’m sure on tablets and bigger phones the experience is pretty good. But again, just an option. I’m not going to bother replying again, this whole poached nonsense is just stupid console warz. |
Insomniac has traditionally made their games exclusively for Playstation consoles. Sony buying Insomniac doesn't take any games from being 3rd party multiplats to being 1st party exclusives. Demon's Soul's wasn't a moneyhat. Demon's Soul's wouldn't have been made on PS3 if not for Sony approaching From Software, and working with them in tandem on the game. Sony's Takeshi Kaji co-produced the game with From's producer. Demon's Souls was very much akin to Scalebound, or Bayonetta 2 in that it was a 2nd party game, slated for console exclusivity. The ironic thing here is that Sony considered Demon's Souls such a bad game that they didn't even want to publish it in North America. That's why Atlus' logo appears on NA PS3 copies of the game. So in terms of Demon's Souls you don't know what you're talking about. Guerilla games wasn't a very good studio when Sony purchased them. It took years for Sony to turn them into a good developer. If MS were to comehow take compulsion games to the level of Guerilla, I'd have no complaints at all.
Of course you think playing on your phone is fine. Your taste in games is horrible. :D
