Its mostly cuz most of the time he is on, something negative looms over the xbox brand. This time is the lack of games wich has plagued xbox for years. Even if he tried to talk about something possitive he would be draged down to talk about the negative cuz fans ask questions then eyes focus on that and all he will say sounds like spin. you even see this happen in holliwood when some bigshot makes a mistake, the worst thing to do is do a pr tour apologizing. Its best to wait untill it passes while working to fix it in the background and once you got it done then bragg from the rooftops. Because you cant tell me you are happy always being on the defensive for this guy. And no, sony does not need to be live for us. They are doing great and the hype is through the roof and while the world was claiming week console and the like they said nothing, games came out and did the talking. This is what phil does not get. |
The lack of games is quite literally the last narrative at the moment and a temporary one at that. 23 studios and all that. Just a shame it feels like they all started development at the same time in late 2018. O well. That said he talks it helps make the wait a little easier. And again if it gets fans like you talking about Xbox, even to complain about it, hey that’s still gamers online talking about Xbox. Also you can’t speak for your community. There’s people who make YT videos or Tweets every time Phil says something new. You bet your ass Sony fans somewhere would do the same if roles were reversed. But I must also add it wouldn’t have hurt for them to talk a bit more like say, to clarify cross gen for certain games the moment they were announced (Spiderman and Horizon). |
