You've missed the point entirely. I am trying to say that the peripherals are more important to Wii's sales than games, just as software was more important than peripherals to PSone's sales. Of course they are both factors.

 

Alright Reduce Current software support by 80% , Increase peripheral support 80% = Slight sales boost short term , Long Term Sale decline.
