get rechargeable, waaaaaay better then normal batteries. and it depends alot on if u have the rumble/sound on coming out from ur wiimote and it also depends on if u have an attachment like the nunchuck or classic controller attached to ur wiimote.
if u turn rumble and sound off and use proper rechargeable batteries it would last for over 50 hours, for me atleast
