I drink at least a gallon a day. I stay pretty active on a daily basis. I do not drink soda. My hierarchy of drinks goes water, tea, fruit juice, milk, liquor, beer, coffee, soda.

From what I know 1 gallon isn't over what is recomended. But sure it would be good to take a blood test because it is quite possible that if you have been taking to much water you will have low level of some minerals in your body.
