I think effect on hardware would be small at best. Its more like an additional game that you buy at the store because you see it on a shelf and remember it. Kinda like Mario Party and Minecraft.

Plus, with the Switch still being supply constrained, chances are that there's no boost at all when the game releases - or not due to the game and rather to the holiday season in general.
