The only games from this year that I've bought (not including remasters) are Paper Mario (haven't played it yet, big backlog), and Animal Crossing (for my wife).
But I can say, from my love of the original and my love of BOTW, Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity will be my game of the year no doubt.
If I included remasters, Xenoblade is a masterpiece.
