There are games that are obviously remade with a totally different code, like Pokemon remakes
The problem is remakes like Zelda Ocarina of Time 3DS and Xenoblade Definitive Edition, they are so similar to their originals they can be easily confused with remasters, just with better textures, when both actually were made from different engines
