Ryng said: SSwitch sold 700.000 units in 2017 so far, 1.3 million consoles have been sold in UK in 2020. it's likely Switch is close to 50% of marketshare, which would mean 650K withouth the last quarter. (in USA Switch had a little less than 60% marketshare, but UK is a worse market for Nintendo) idk how much Switch sold in 2018 and 2019, but you can clearly see the growth from the first year |
Hiska's chart (CESA data) suggests:
2017: 700K
2018: 830K
2019: 950K
So looks like target pace for this year is >1.5M.
Also, repeat from what I posted on Era:

Based on Nintendo's own data, NSW in calendar 2019 sold 5.09M in Europe markets. Highest numbers we've had reported for Europe are the following:
NSW 2020 looks like it could cross 4M from just UK and France alone (expecting 1.5M UK and 2.5M France). So we're going to get a run at 10M IMO.
NSW 2020 looks to be in line with 08/09 NDS in US and Europe and ahead of 08/09 NDS in JP. I think there's a real solid chance we clear 30M globally this CY and FY.
Next year with better supply and Pro model is going to be gangbusters.
