I can't really fault Nadella's methods. After trying for years to make some exclusive franchises succeed outside of Halo, Gears and Forza (+maybe Fable) not many other of their exclusives have made a splash so it totally makes sense to buy companies with already proven IPs.
I had to process my thoughts for a long time regarding MS's purchase of Bethesda and overall, I think it's good. I'm not into Xbox so I may not be able to play the future Fallout games and that sucks for me (if they do manage to make Fallout good again) but this kind of competition is good overall. If it means Sony will work their butt off to win this gen, it can only benefit us the consumers.
As long as it stays competitive, I think we are the biggest winners.
