No they won't exit the market. MS is too big of a company to go down in flames due to a net loss in one division (unlike Sega or Nintendo that are only in the gaming biz), so long as 360 surpasses the original Xbox in terms of units sold and marketshare, it won't matter how their financial performance looks at the end of this generation.
