I don't know why you guys expected anything higher than a 7. My personal score was 5 or lower from the day it was announced.
I knew it'd be identical to GHIII except all about Aerosmith...which is stupid. I like some of their songs, definitely not a majority though, and plenty agree. It was just a stupid decision on Activision's part...there's no point in making an entire game based around one band...by including a huge variety the game will always sell more and be more enjoyable...they're just gonna chug out as many "different" GH games as they can, and people aren't going to like it for much longer.
