Seahawks really dodged a bullet there. Made a game that didn't feel too competetive most of the night look it, and then at the end were really just lucky to get away. What other coach would think it's a good idea to go for a deep pass on 3rd and 1, when another 1st down effectively ends the game.

No, that failed 2-pt conversion was the key. If that succeeded, NE could have just kicked the FG and send it to OT with the momentum on their side. But because it failed, a FG on that last drive wouldn’t have done jackshit, so they needed the TD, giving Seattle that extra chance they needed to make that last stand. 

And I think that last Offensive play was more of a Wilson call than a Carroll call.
