I think it's sony saying 'hey, these games had their heyday, they sold well and made us a bunch of money, but they're not selling all too well anymore so let's just give em away with PS+ as an incentive to switch over.'
IT's kind of perfect. I own virtually every game on that list, but having them digitally means I won't have to use the discs...which is oddly counterproductive considering I am getting the disc version of the PS5. I like having the option, okay?
