I'm not sure if Spiderman is licenced from IP owners, not going cross-gen at this point in time seems very expensive with licenced IP like that.
Horizon does seem disappointing from perspective of championing nextgen, I would even include Sackboy in that as well, but I guess Sony
seems these as strong IPs they depend on exploiting fully yet maybe in case of Sackboy is more niche and so can't go full nextgen exclusive?
I think Sony does need to publicly commit to more upcoming games being nextgen exclusive if they want to salvage their credibility here.
Realistically this isn't strange for platform launch, but they need to emphasize how ongoing development is focused on nextgen exclusivity.
