It'll probably never touch the wii...
The wii has found it's way into homes which MS and sony could never dream of reaching..

Which means the ps3 is still catching up and has managed to outsell the 360 with 1.17 million consoles worldwide this year...
I'd say that sony has the advantage right now, they're waiting for 360's move and will counter it. Sony already has the upper hand right now (although slightly) and they know how to play poker!!!
They won´t make it this xmas, but watch 2009...

At this rate it´ll be 2,5 years from now. But considering they´re closing the gap i´d expect the end of 2009
