But why compare 3080 benchmarks to 2080Ti to make some sort of statement? Wouldn't it be more logical to wait for the 3080Ti? The performance difference will likely be on the same scale when all is said and done. If a 3080 base reference card can beat a 2080Ti this handily, a 3080Ti will absolutely murder it.

I didn't think you'd compare a 3080 to a 2080Ti cause that's silly. People who spend that much money on a GPU are looking at the 3090.

But if you insist on the comparison, 23% to 33% faster for almost half the price of a 2080Ti is pretty damn crazy if you ask me.
