With Pikmin remaster and now 3D Mario Allstars, I'll officially say that Nintendo gets a free pass from me for the rest of 2020. 3D World is w/the extra content is nice but I didn't much care for it at least for single player.

As I believe I've harped on quite a bit already - I'm fine this year between the backlog and still catching up buying older games/remasters. Given the circumstances of Covid the slowing development makes sense to a degree (though I don't see why they can't do much of the work remotely).

But with that said, if we're seeing a similar drought (or mostly remakes/remasters) in 2021 - THAT is when I'll begin to take issue. But I do foresee a far stronger year, at least in the 2nd half of 2021. We should at the very least get BotW2 (MP4 is probably 2022). But I think it'll be far better as Nintendo I'm sure realize that will potentially be the peak year for the console until things start to slowly but surely decline a bit in 2022.

Allstars is cool and all, however at the end of the day is still a remaster. The biggest problem with Nintendo, it is still lacking new content yet again. Same old pattern we seen in the last few console releases were nothing has come at a steady pace after the initial few years of Launch.

We shouldn't be content and giving Nintendo a free pass because of a Mario Anniversary Collection, which some way is given that something would happen.

Nintendo alone can't release more games unless they spend money, therefore they finally need to realise that 3rd parties are important and need to work harder in getting them to release games properly on their systems.  If they don't want do that, then they should spend some money and buy up  a few 2nd party studios or creating new ones to ensure there is a constant output of games.

They should also take criticism onboard about what people are complaining about on their systems. For example Crapcom and the way the release their games. Nintendo should go fuck people are complaining about this, how can we work with Crapcom to ensue those complaints don't happen, instead they let them do this dodgy shit and it makes you somewhat had the Switch for it.
