I love video game music, so I really appreciate this thread. However I think I'm just going to name a few games that come to mind since it's really difficult to rank them.
Xenoblade Chronicles X, Astral Chain, Jet Set Radio, Secret of Mana, Super Metroid, Mega Man 2, Mega Man X, Castlevania Bloodlines, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda Skyward Sword, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Hyrule Warriors, Final Fantasy VIII, Shovel Knight, The Messenger, Final Fantasy XII, Axiom Verge, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Dragon Quest XI, Terrangima, Yoshi's Woolly World.
